Irish-born author and thriller writer Des Sheridan is the author of four books.
He lives in the Lake District in the United Kingdom.
He is inspired to write by the places, peoples and histories he encounters on his travels – this ranges from Ireland, Britain and Europe to the Mediterranean and the Middle East – and by a simple desire to tell stories.
His latest book The Fixer of Alqosh is a thriller set in war-torn Syria in Iraq in 2014.
The Triskell Mystery is an occult thriller about a strange Celtic artefact that can read the future.
